About

Catherine Stoller is a Certified Academic Language Therapist (CALT) and the founder of Summit Dyslexia Therapy. She brings more than 15 years of experience as a classroom teacher, school counselor, 504 coordinator, and dyslexia specialist to her work with students. Catherine is based in Colorado Springs, but services are also available virtually.

Catherine holds a Master of Arts in Teaching in Dyslexia Therapy from Colorado College, where her graduate research earned the Excellence in Graduate Research Award. Her work examined a question many families face: do students need an official diagnosis to benefit from structured literacy intervention? Her findings reinforced what she sees in practice every day: students thrive with the right support, whether or not they have a formal diagnosis in hand.

As a 504 coordinator, Catherine spent years on the other side of the table, helping families navigate school-based support systems. She understands the process from the inside, and she knows how overwhelming it can feel for parents trying to advocate for their child. That perspective shapes everything she does at Summit Dyslexia Therapy.

For the past two years, Catherine has worked full-time as a dyslexia specialist, delivering intensive, research-based intervention to elementary students across multiple schools. She founded Summit Dyslexia Therapy to bring that same expertise to families seeking private support.

Catherine is trained in Take Flight, JET (+14 years of age), and BUILD (K/1), all of which are evidence-based, Orton-Gillingham programs designed to build reading, spelling, and writing skills systematically. She works with students in grades K–12, offering both individual and small group sessions, in-person and virtually.
