Contact us to discuss pricing, availability, and the best option for your child. Services are available in-person in Colorado Springs, Colorado, or virtually.

Small Group Therapy

In-person groups of 2-3 students, matched by skill level. Small group instruction provides the benefits of individualized attention while allowing students to learn alongside peers. Groups are carefully matched by reading level and needs, creating a supportive environment where students build skills and confidence together.

Individual (1:1) Sessions

One-on-one, in-person instruction. Private sessions offer fully customized instruction tailored to your child’s specific strengths, challenges, and learning needs. This intensive format allows for maximum progress and flexibility.

Virtual Sessions

One-on-one instruction, online. Virtual sessions provide the same high-quality, evidence-based instruction from the comfort of your home. Perfect for families with scheduling constraints or those outside the immediate Colorado Springs area.

Parent Consultation

Guidance on evaluations, 504 plans, and IEP meetings. Consultation sessions help parents understand and navigate the path to support, including how and where to get a diagnosis, how to access in-school or private therapeutic services, and what kinds of 504 or IEP accommodations best support your dyslexic student.

Our Approach

Summit Dyslexia Therapy uses structured literacy methods proven effective for students with dyslexia.

Our primary curriculum is Take Flight, developed by the Luke Waites Center for Dyslexia and Learning Disorders at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital. Take Flight is a two-year, Orton-Gillingham-based program designed for students in grades 2–8 that systematically teaches phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension through multisensory techniques. The program is explicit, sequential, and cumulative, building skills in a logical progression so students develop a solid foundation in reading, spelling, and writing.

For students outside the typical Take Flight age range, we draw on additional evidence-based programs including JET (+14 years of age) and BUILD (Kindergarten/1st grade) to meet each learner where they are in their reading journeys.
